God's Creation
by Mommy, Micah and Caleb
The world is a vast space
And our God is the praise.
Filled with creatures all over the place
And even a child that plays.
The animals roam loose
And the trees are colored rust.
The camel and lion and goose,
God created even man from dust.
The world seems in a rush
And so many choices of roads.
The animals may be the crush,
As the tires go over the toads.
Yes, the rush and crush of time
Must be the worst type of crime.

What an awesome sonnet, Teresa!! Definitely a keeper! You might even consider submitting it somewhere.
The final lines brought tears to my eyes. Shane, our oldest, reminded me that he will be old enough to get his driving permit in just a few months.... The time? Where did it go? I'd like to keep him in his "salad days". =) (A little Shakespeare idiom I found. LOL)
I hope you all are well - happy, healthy, and basking in the presence of our AMAZING Savior!
Hugs... jan
That is great!! Thanks so much for your comment from the other day, I appreciate your words of wisdom. I know God is working even through this. Thank you so much.
Great sonnet! Sounds like school is going well for you guys. We have not told the girls about the pregnancy yet and so they are starting to wonder what's up with mom and why is she acting so weird!
I just loved that poem! It is really very moving as it travels from joyful emotions to sorrowful. I smiled as I read until the last few lines when I was reminded of the toll our hustle and bustle takes on the world and creatures around us. I will keep that in mind as I go through this day and remain focused on caring for God's gifts!
