September is Here!

It's hard to believe it is already September. The Fall Feast days are upon us! This final month of the civil calendar, Elul, which is a traditional intensification of a period of repentance begun in Av (the 11th month) and continues through Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement). We should approach Yom Kippur with a lot of forethought.
And, boy, do I have a lot for which to reflect and be repentant. It's been a trying several months with John continuing to seek work since the middle of March, selling our home in Tennessee which as I type this we have a contract on it, and moving back to Texas. I have felt very weak at times and while my heart knows that God IS taking care of us and will continue to take care of us, I have had a hard time convincing my head! It's been an amazing learning experience, that, admittedly, I have not always been grateful for, but one that continues as I write this. I haven't always understood God's timing, but I will always trust that timing and pray for continued strength and continued mercy as I learn to put all of my trust in Him and none of my trust in this world.
I am grateful, thankful and humbled by the continued blessings that are bestowed on me even as I fail to trust and serve God in the way that I should. The mercy of God's grace for me is so "Awe"some!!! Praise be to our Heavenly Father for not treating us the way we deserve to be treated.
And praise be to God for His MERCY endures FOREVER!

I love your new web site and looking forward to seeing y'all on Monday. """Let the house hunting begin!!"""
We are ready for our kids to be Texans!! (John new stopped - he said)..
I understand about waiting on God's timing --- it's not always easy as I have found out in waiting for my disability. But, after 15 mo. of waiting (sometimes impatiently)and KNOWING God was in control = HE came through without me having to go to a hearing. Now if the money would just get here to pay some doctor bills. HA! There I go again with my impatience. Again, I love the WHOLE web sit and all of your blogging and testimony. Prayer DOES work - if we have faith and trust Him. Love, Mother

Oops, disregard the other post.

God be praised for using both your strength and your weakness as a witness to His love, mercy and faithfulness in all things.

I am so glad you are moving a little closer!
